Scandinavian influences – keeping it bright

Hi, sorry, for my recent blog-absence. It has been a lot going on lately with my new job, the move and settling in to life in Sweden again. One thing I have been keeping up to date with is the real estate-ads and I want to share some of the amazing flats that are on the market in Gothenburg just now, with you.

There is always a certain degree of white involved in Swedish interior design, but at the moment there is even more about keeping the place clean and only keeping items and details that really means something to you on a personal level. Also, natural light is crucial for us, maybe because we live so far up north. We are light-addicted sun-junkies that are completely dedicated to finding a way to let daylight into our homes.

Scandinavian design has a reputation of keeping things simple and I like this heritage, even though I too often find it very hard to apply to my own life.

I have selected a random bunch of stunning interiors with details that add that extra hint of love and care to a room.
